In this episode Abdullah and Shah Faisal look ahead to the resumption of the ICC World Test Championship where New Zealand will host South Africa, England tour West Indies, Sri Lanka go to India and Pakistan take on the Aussies.
We reflect on some of the Pakistan team selections which were announced shortly before this recording for the forthcoming Test series with Pat Cummins’s side. Players discussed include Shan Masood and Shadab Khan.
There is also a bit of talk on the Women’s World Cup which commences on the same day as the Pakistan vs Australia 1st Test in Rawalpindi.
There is also some talk about India’s reluctance to allow their players to play in overseas T20 domestic tournaments and whether this is impacting their white ball progress as a national team now.
Faisal also gives his verdict on who should lead India in Test Cricket going forward following Virat Kohli’s resignation recently after 7 years in the role.
