Mark Butcher will be commentating in the upcoming seven match Twenty20 series between Pakistan and England.
Mark leaves the UK on Thursday. Butcher has previously commentated in the 2020 Pakistan Super League and has also appeared as a pundit for PTV when England toured the Emirates in 2015.
He has never played in Pakistan though.
In his playing days, Butcher interestingly played 71 Tests, but never an ODI. Mark comes from a cricketing family as his father played for Surrey for many years and also had a stint as the head coach of Zimbabwe.
Butcher was a left hander and a former Surrey Captain. His career highlight was scoring a century against the great Australian team in 2001 in a winning cause at Leeds in what was the only Ashes Test England won in that home summer.
