Dominic Cork will commentate in the Pakistan Junior League. Cork confirmed his participation in the upcoming tournament in Lahore during the England vs India 3rd one day international at Lord’s yesterday.
Cork has previously commentated in the Pakistan Super League in 2020 and 2021. It is well known that he was in Pakistan when the 2009 attacks on the Sri Lankan team took place. The former English seamer was covering that series as a commentator. At the time he mentioned he was unlikely to return to Pakistan in his lifetime having been caught up in that catastrophe, but of course that subsequently hasn’t proven to be true.
The inaugural edition of the PJL was the brainchild of Ramiz Raja, the current chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board. And the tournament commences on 6th of October.
