Ireland will tour Pakistan in the 2025-2026 season for white ball matches in what will be their first men’s tour of the country. Ireland will meet Pakistan before that in a T20I series this year and also in America at the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday 16th June.
Ireland women’s team toured Pakistan in November 2022 and won the T20I series 2-1 after losing the ODI series. That was the first Irish side men or women to tour Pakistan.
Ireland famously beat Pakistan in the 2007 ICC Cricket World Cup in Jamaica and tied an ODI against them at home in 2013.
Ireland’s only home Test in both women’s and men’s cricket has come against Pakistan in 2000 and 2018 respectively. Ireland women won in 2000 but the visitors won in a close Test in 2018. The Joyce family had members featuring in both of those Tests.
